Building your first product

To create a Product in the Sayduck Platform, you need a 3D model. There are plenty of ways to create 3D models, but if you are in need of 3D modelling services, Contact us!

Here is a video that shows you how to build the Sayduck Tutorial product from the Sample 3D Files.

Prepare files

The Sayduck Platform supports most of 3D file formats, but the recommended file format is .obj. Other great choices are glTF, GLB and FBX. Here you can find out more on Uploading 3D Models

New Product

Now that you have a 3D model ready, it’s time to upload. First, log in to the Sayduck Platform.

Once you’re logged in, create a New Product from the top right corner:

Click the Upload icon in the meshes or,
Drag and drop your files on the page.

Edit your 3D Scene

Ones your model has been loaded you can move, rotate, and zoom your model by clicking, dragging, and scrolling in the Sayduck 3D viewer. Check out Navigation for more information!

Now create a New Material and apply your texture maps to the map slots.

Drag & drop your Texture file to the Map Slot or,
Click the Map Slot and choose a texture

Embed & Export!

Once your model looks how you want it, it’s time to publish and share your models.

Open Embed & Export tab from the top-left side. Click the Publish button to receive you Embed tag and Shareable Preview.

You can also export your products as glTF, GLB and USDZ. Hit export and the file will be sent to your account mail.

glTF: Widely used 3D file format.
GLB: Binary form of glTF.
USDZ: AR file format, only for iOS 12 devices. Check out, Embed USDZ files!
