Material replacement
Material replacement is a condition you can add to a Variant that changes a Material in the 3D scene to another while the Variant is selected.
Source: Selected Material that will be removed/changed
Replacement: Source Mesh will changed to the selected Material (leave empty to remove Source mesh)
Add replacement: Will add replacement condition to the Variant.
Change Material globally in all Configurations
With Material replacements, you can quickly and easily control materials in multiple nodes. As in this example, we are replacing Material assigned to both Armrest and Chair nodes.
Separate nodes that share materials

Assign same material to both nodes

Create Configuration for your fabric options, but instead of Nodes, add Material replacement: [seat fabric -> fabric 1]

Repeat process for other fabrics Materials
